From being homeless and sleeping in his car at age 19, to now making big moves in marketing, my guest this week epitomizes the saying “Fake it ’till you make it.” Join my conversation with Selah Brooks who’s passionate about where he’s headed.
On Selah’s high school graduation day, he was kicked out of his father’s house. Selah found himself on his own, trying to figure out how he would make ends meet. Through the generosity of one of his high school teachers, Selah was presented with a chance to build his resume at a local event. This event led to him being offered an opportunity in sales, and Selah said “Yes!” Although it hasn’t been an easy path, Selah has a growth mindset. He’s always looking for ways he can grow, improve and learn.
